A huge big ‘Thank-you’ to Mike Cunningham and the team at Ledingham Chalmers for their generous donation of £500.

Bennachie  Wed 29th Feb 2012 …………

I met a very kind gentleman called Max today while doing my ‘Ben 10 Challenge’ on Bennachie.  He gave me a tenner for the pot.

Thank-you Max !

Falcons School for Girls  …………………

Thanks-you so much to all parents, staff and pupils of Falcons School for Girls for raising a staggering £842.31 for JDRF through ‘Climbing for a Cure’.  They organised a variety of Fairs, cake sales, etc, etc.

For such a small school, this total is amazing – your cakes must be extraordinarily delicious !

Have a look at their fabulous school  at                   www.falconsgirls.co.uk

Well done girls, thank-you so much. xx

Thank-you to Les Scorgie …………

A massive thank-you to Mr Les Scorgie, who has raised a burning hot £1043.90 for JDRF via ‘Climbing for a Cure’, by recently completing his FIREWALK.

Thanks so much Les, you are definitely HOT STUFF !!! x

Thank-you to Stephen Booth  ………………

A huge ‘Thank-you’ to Stephen Booth who raised a fantastic £375 when he ran the Baker Hughes 10K on our behalf.

Well done Stephen.  A good time too :-)    ( much better than Neil’s)  !!

A MASSIVE Thank-you to the McIntosh Family ………….

We would like to say a massive, heart-felt thank-you to the McIntosh family (Roma, Keith, Emma, Peter and Jane) who have given JDRF a cheque for £120.

The very beautiful, Baby Jane Rosemary McIntosh was Christened on the day of the walk. Roma and Keith asked family and friends to donate to JDRF instead of bringing a gift. This was such a kind gesture that completely blew us away.

Thanks so much to Roma and Keith and to all their wonderful family and friends !

( I hear a good party was had by all !)

L xx

A HUGE Thankyou to everyone who visited our ‘Climbing for a Cure’ tent yesterday. It was lovely to see all the old faces and great to meet so many new ones.

The Mobile Climbing Wall was a huge success – thanks to Neil and Laura who were fantastic.

Our continued thanks to Family and Friends who travelled from as far afield as London to be part of a very important day. We continue to be humbled by all of you wonderful people who dragged yourselves out on a rubbish day to support our worthy cause ! Thanks again. xx

This years JDRF Walk to cure Diabetes takes place on Sunday 19th Sept at Hazelhead Park, Aberdeen.
In previous years, our team Darcey’s Dazzlers have attended in force. Last year we were 42 strong !
This year we will have a tent to promote Climbing for a Cure. We will have some of Neil and Radek’s climbing Kit, a display of Radek’s Mont Blanc photographs and a 26″ mobile Climbing Wall.

Why not come along and have a go !!!
